PRIMAL 2 VS. PRIMAL 3 OVERVIEW

Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

First Barefoot type shoe
- width is very welcome
- after 2-3 weeks wearing them my toe splay has happened and my foot pain is gone-ish. only time will tell if totally gone
- the outsole is extremely grippy in snowy conditions, so much so that they track alot of snow inside
- overall the shoe is comfortable
- my feet are about a half size different so one is a almost a full size too large while the other is perfect - ie the sizing seems to be a little on the larger/longer side.

I've purchased at least 10 pairs of Lems shoes. These are my favorite of them all. Others have commented about them needing a break in period. Mine were comfortable out of the box. Had them about a month and they're holding up well. I recommend these shoes.
Also, wearing Lems has had an overall positive effect on back pain that I have experienced. They don't feel like you're walking on a cloud but those overly comfortable shoes on the market don't give me the overall support my body needs.
Lems FTW!
I'd suggest trying a half size larger than most shoes.
