PRIMAL 2 VS. PRIMAL 3 OVERVIEW

Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Outstanding Performance
I wear barefoot shoes. I needed some boots for a trip to Scotland. After a lot of research over a wide variety of companies I decided on the Summit Waterproof boot. I even ordered a Vivobarefoot boot so I could feel them side by side. I stuck within the Lems. For 8 days I hiked in the highlands through mud and water and then the hilly city of Edinburgh. I went a total of 51 miles in my Lems throughout the week. I didn’t break them in before and I still didn’t get a single blister. We didn’t get as much rain as anticipated but when there was, my feet were comfortable and dry the whole time. These boots were my best purchase for the trip. I can’t say enough good things about them. I wear a 9.5 in non-barefoot shoes and my feet are about 25.5 in. For most barefoot brands I wear a 10. I ordered a 10 in these and they fit perfect, still plenty of room for toe splay even with wool socks. I highly recommend these boots!

I have painful bunions, so I usually treat new shoes like enemies. But these? Absolute champions.
i wore the Lems Boulder Summit Waterproof all over Japan and walked up to 36,000 steps a day without pain. I only brought this one pair, and they somehow handled snow, miles of walking, and dressing up for dinner. They’re also super spacious, which my bunions greatly appreciate.

Life Changing
I bought these boots because a friend recommended them.
Having wide feet and bunions, I have always had foot pain when wearing shoes.
After purchasing these and several other pairs of Lems, the of health of my feet has transformed
